Looking for books about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)? CanFASD has launched a new webpage featuring a selection of books published from 2021 onward. The list brings together resources for people with FASD, caregivers, educators, families, and anyone interested in learning more about FASD.
Whether you are looking for introductory information about FASD, resources to support children and adults, educational materials, or personal stories, our new FASD book list provides a starting point for exploring available titles.
Please note that the books listed on this webpage are provided as options for readers to explore and are not endorsed or recommended by CanFASD. Inclusion on the list does not indicate that CanFASD has reviewed or evaluated the content of each book.
1849 books sold!
One of our favorite books on the list is Hannah Denburg’s What Is Your Superpower?: Growing and Glowing with FASD. This story celebrates the strengths of people with FASD and highlights the important role we all play in providing support. Since its launch in 2024, the book has reached an incredible 1,849 readers and raised $6,862.32 for CanFASD!
Hannah generously donates 100% of the proceeds to CanFASD, helping advance research, resources and supports for people with FASD, their families and the service providers who work alongside them. We’re so grateful for the support this book has received over the past two years, and we’d love to see it reach even more readers!
Looking for a children’s book about FASD? Consider adding What Is Your Superpower? to your bookshelf, recommending it to a family, or sharing it with a school, library or community organization. Every copy helps spread understanding of FASD while supporting CanFASD’s work!

New books about FASD continue to be published, and we welcome suggestions from our network. If you know of a book about FASD published in 2021 or later that you think should be included, we invite you to send your suggestion to info@canfasd.ca for consideration.
