About Enviros and the Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Clinic

Enviros is a Calgary-based not-for-profit social services agency that offers evidence-based, strength-focused programming for children, youth, adults, and families. In addition, their Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Clinic is a leader in multidisciplinary FASD assessment and support. It serves clients from Calgary Youth Courts and Indigenous communities including Stoney Nakoda and Tsuut’ina Nations.

With more than 20 years of work in the field, Enviros has become a key service provider for individuals with FASD. Their services support greater inclusion, well-being, and community success.

The Transitions to Positive Futures Program

Enviros is being recognized specifically for its Transitions to Positive Futures (TTPF) program. This initiative is delivered in the Calgary Young Offenders Centre and the Adult Female Annex. TTPF was designed to identify and support youth and women with suspected or diagnosed FASD who are involved in the legal system.

The program provides:

  • multidisciplinary FASD assessments
  • court-informed education and supports
  • post-diagnosis transition planning
  • connection to housing, mental health, addiction, education and employment services
  • training for correctional staff and justice professionals
