FASD Month is just around the corner! Held every year during the month of September, FASD Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness about FASD and the potential impacts of alcohol use during pregnancy and to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of those with FASD.

FASD Month is centered around FASD Day, held on September 9th. There are hundreds of events and celebrations across Canada and around the globe.

Help us celebrate

There are so many ways that you can get involved! Share information about FASD during the month of September! Talk to your friends and members of your community, host an event, share information on social media, or reach out to your local politicians and members of parliament. Check out your local FASD organization to see if they have any events planned in your area.

Be sure and visit www.fasdmonth.ca or www.moisdutsaf.ca for more information. We’ve created a number of resources to help people raise awareness about FASD. The full toolkit is available on the FASD month website. It has graphics for your social media pages, fast facts about FASD, sample social media posts, and more.
