The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is happy to announce that the Youth Action for Prevention (YAP) program has launched new social media platforms and webpage for youth audiences.

YAP is a youth-focused awareness and prevention initiative that aims to increase the knowledge of Saskatchewan youth (aged 14-24) about alcohol-related harms, including FASD. With youth engagement as the basis of this program, YAP focuses on supporting youth to create resources and projects for their communities that build awareness of alcohol-related harms.

With the launch of a new webpage, Facebook, and Instagram page, YAP hopes to expand our reach through accessible platforms and uplift voices of youth creating healthy change in their communities. These platforms will centre a diversity of youth experiences and voices and will be utilized to share youth-led and youth-friendly information, resources, and opportunities.
