Our webinar on the sensory world of people with FASD was such a hit that we decided to split it into three parts! In the Sensory World of People with FASD: Part 1, we introduced sensory processing and talked about interoceptive sensory awareness.
Join us for our Part 2, happening online November 26, 2021 at 1:00pm eastern. Shana Mohr and Lisa Brownstone will be back to talk about proprioception and vestibular processing. Proprioception is our ability to sense our body movement, including the location, action, position, force, and efforts. Vestibular processing is our ability to sense where our body is in space. It gives use information on whether or not we’re stationary or moving, which direction we’re going, and how fast we’re moving. Shana and Lisa will talk about how these two senses affect daily functioning and the benefits of occupational therapy for people with FASD who may struggle with these senses.
If you missed Part 1, don’t worry. A recording of this webinar is now up on our YouTube page!
Be sure to register now to attend this event and stay tuned for Part 3, coming in 2022.
