We are very excited to announce the launch of our new CanFASD Individual Membership plan! We’ve always been a member organization, offering jurisdictional memberships to provinces and territories across Canada. Now we’re happy to announce that we’re expanding our membership opportunities to make our network more accessible to individuals from coast to coast.

What is the Individual Membership?

Our Individual Membership is an annual membership to the CanFASD network. The membership costs $129.00 CAD per year with preferred rates for individuals with FASD and caregivers of individuals with FASD at $49.00 per year.

Individual members will receive a number of different benefits. Some of these benefits include bi-weekly newsletters and invitations to member-only events that will keep you connected with the FASD community, keep you informed with what CanFASD is working on, and provide you with opportunities to participate in and contribute to ongoing research.

Who can be a part of the membership?

The membership is open to anyone, including caregivers, service providers, researchers, professionals, and people with FASD. We also welcome individuals outside of Canada to join!

Win a free membership!

CanFASD is offering five free memberships to individuals with FASD and caregivers of people with FASD in Canada. Fill out this form to be entered in our draw and you could be chosen to receive a free CanFASD Individual Membership, valid for one year. The contest closes on July 28, 2021 and winners will be contacted in late July/early August.

I’m in a member jurisdiction, should I still get a membership?

Absolutely! Our jurisdictional membership is for governments to improve FASD policy and practice in their provinces and territories. We’ve created our Individual Membership to bring CanFASD’s quality research and resources to everyone in Canada. Our individual benefits are very different from our jurisdictional benefits and include perks like newsletter updates every two weeks, exclusive updates on ongoing research, and invites to member-only events.

The individual membership is a great way to share your voice and strengthen the FASD community in Canada. Visit our website to learn more or to purchase a membership.

We look forward to you joining our network!
