Membership Eligibility
The affiliate membership is intended for organizations and agencies with multiple employees. Membership pricing is dependent on the number of people employed in your organization. Affiliate members must agree to our code of conduct to remain members in good standing with CanFASD. CanFASD reserves the right to decline or discontinue an affiliation at its discretion, particularly in cases where conduct or alignment with CanFASD values is not maintained.

Affiliate membership with CanFASD
As an affiliate of CanFASD, your organization will be added to our list of affiliate members on our public website. You may also state on your own communication documents that “[organization] is a registered affiliate of the Canada FASD Research Network”. As part of your affiliate membership, you will be asked to sign a code of conduct that your organization must adhere to. We reserve the right to remove your affiliation and cancel your membership if you fail to uphold our code of conduct.
Discounts to CanFASD online courses
You will receive an organizational discount of 20% for all of CanFASD’s Level II online courses. For those in member jurisdictions, this will be added on top of the jurisdictional discount. The number of codes will be limited to the max number of employees in your affiliate tier (i.e. if your organization chooses our 11-50 tier for your affiliate membership, 50 of your employees can use the discount code). The code will expire the date of your membership expiry. Discount codes and e-learning accounts cannot be transferred between staff.
Professional development opportunities
You’ll receive invitations through your registered contact email to online member-only events and webinars, as well as in-person events. An RSVP and/or registration will be required for all staff attending. Member-only events have limited capacity – be sure to register in a timely manner.
Topic-specific research and resources
Upon request, we will send you a roundup email of available topic-specific resources and research to help you understand the scope of an issue of your choosing and how it relates to FASD. This is not a complete review or summary, but will give your organization insight into some of the key publications related to this topic.
