GOVERNANCE OPPORTUNITIES

We are currently looking for new members to join our Board of Directors! We are looking for “difference makers,” individuals who, on a national level, want to engage in making a difference for those with FASD. We are looking for members from BC or Northern Canada, with knowledge of or experience with FASD.  Priority will be given to individuals with one or more of the following: bilingual; experience in a medical field, FASD, NGO, financial acumen or communications. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Research Postdoctoral Fellowship – Dr. Jacqueline Pei, at the University of Alberta is seeking an outstanding candidate for a Research Postdoctoral Fellowship. The Fellow will have the opportunity to participate in multiple research projects geared towards improving community based practices specific to meeting the needs of individual with FASD.

Research Postdoctoral Fellowship – Dr. Kaitlyn McLachlan at the University of Guelph is seeking an an outstanding and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the Psychology, Law, and Neurodevelopmental Research and Policy Group. The Fellow will be engaged in a number of exciting projects focusing on novel applications of neurotechnology, including eye tracking and EEG, to better identify individuals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) in justice and forensic contexts.
