Canada FASD Conference comes to Toronto this month!

Canada FASD Conference audience

Our staff, researchers, and members of our Board of Directors are packing their bags and heading to Toronto later this month for the second Canada FASD Conference. We look forward to connecting with colleagues, learning from experts, and engaging with members of the FASD community from across Canada and around the world.

From October 21–23, delegates will come together to explore collaborative approaches to addressing the complexities of FASD. Please note: Registration closes Monday, October 6th. We encourage all interested participants to register promptly to secure their place.

What to expect

The conference program will cover a broad spectrum of FASD-related topics, including the legal system, diagnosis, prevention, policy development, and more. Keynote panels will examine critical issues such as human rights and FASD, trauma and FASD, and the ‘pinkifying’ of alcohol marketing.

This year, the conference will also feature a new Film Festival, showcasing compelling short films that highlight diverse voices and perspectives. Additional opportunities for engagement include networking sessions, poster presentations, and collaborative spaces designed to foster new ideas and professional connections. The full Program at a Glance is available online – explore it today and start planning your conference experience.
