We are delighted to finally share with you the Canada FASD Conference 2023 program. After many months of planning, we’re pleased to release the full list of presenters who will take to the stage next month.

The digital program goes into detail about everything you need to know for your time in Saskatoon, including timings, presentation titles, speakers and whether it’s an oral presentation, workshop or panel discussion. Want to find out more about the presentations? Follow the official conference Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages where we have been sharing speaker biographies and summaries of what to expect from their talks.

What to expect from the sold out event

We are so pleased at the response to this event, there was far more interest than we could have imagined! The conference is sold out and the waitlist is very long. Attendees and presenters will get more details to their inboxes in the next week, including important information about the conference app, venue, and schedule. In the meantime, take a look at the conference program to see what presentations pique your interest!

The conference is taking place in beautiful Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There’s lots to do and see in the city beyond the conference.

Conference attendees can receive discounts at select hotels in Saskatoon. If you were unaware of our conference discount and already booked your hotel, don’t worry – you can still benefit from our negotiated rate at some locations. Just contact the hotel to let them know that you are a part of the Canada FASD Conference and they will update your booking for you.

Excitement is building

With just one month to go until the conference, the anticipation is really building.

Conference speaker, Carmen Edwards (FASD Justice Program in Winnipeg, Manitoba), sums up her excitement for the conference: “the ability to network with other individuals, families, service providers, and professionals in the FASD-world is invaluable. It’s so interesting/encouraging to see what other provinces/countries are up to, learn from their experiences and find ways to work together in continuing work in this important field!”.

Conference speaker, Chris Chabot (Central Alberta FASD Network) shares her enthusiasm: “This conference provides an important opportunity for not only education and awareness, but also utilizing our collaborative experiences and knowledge to ensure effective and meaningful supports for individuals impacted by FASD, and consistent and effective approaches to Prevention”.

The speakers can’t wait to share their knowledge and expertise with our sold-out conference audience.
